With over 20 years of engineering leadership experience in B2B SaaS, Madalina specializes in service-oriented architecture, cloud-native distributed systems, scalability and reliability, and R&D operations. Her journey at Collibra, started as VP of Operations & Excellence, a role focused on establishing sound engineering and operational practices that allowed the company to scale and meet the needs and expectations of Global 2000 customers.

Before joining Collibra in 2020, Madalina served as the VP of Engineering at Medidata Solutions, where she built and led the Unified Platform Organization for over a decade. In 2023, The Software Report honored her as one of the Top 25 Software CTOs.
She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science from the Polytechnics University of Bucharest.
